Mullinavat minors got it right at the second time of asking when they turned in their best performance of the season to defeat Glenmore in the Roinn B semi final replay. After the excitement of the drawn game  Kilmacow was again the venue and this time there was no denying the Mullinavat lads. A goal just before half time was the springboard for a powerful second hals display which saw the Mullinavat boys end with an eight point victory. The first half was very even and it was all square at eight points each as the half time whistle approached. Then Mark Mansfield got possession, burst through the Glenmore defence and buried the sliotar in the net . It was a wonderful goal and it gave Mullinavat a great boost going in at half time. John Walsh  and Mark Mansfield added  points soon after the restart to edge Mullinavat further ahead. The Mullinavat team then upped their game and when Thomas Aylward moved to centre back they cut out the danger from the Glenmore attack. Glenmore were restricted to two points from frees until they added a point from play in injury time. Mullinavat began to link up extremely well and points from Conor Duggan, Pat Mulhearn and Mark Mansfield saw them run out convincing winners 1-16 to 0-11. This was a great team effort and now they will face St. Patrick's Ballyragget in the Roinn B county final. Well done to the whole panel and management.
